Hello, i have to wait for thanos board and motors from china, so i use the time to make some little thibngs ...
today i start a diy handbrake in stainless steel :
- find and cutting some old (unused) nice bicycle handlebar
- welding (wig) plates for better Feeling
- make an U-Profile for it and take 2 pieces 6mm screws

After this :
- find a handle and attach it ( ebay 2 of them for 6 euro )
- find the right spring and power for it ...and attach it

next steps
- open an unused old USB Joystick - find out which acle i want to use ( i take the potentiometer thrust Regulator ) - think how it can connect to my hardware

- drill the screw head on 6mm ( for potentiometer axle ) - welding some support (for Poti) - welding a switch holder ( for games who use digital and not analog brake )

Yes .. i startet also a few years earlier ... in 98 i made my first own diy pedals for FS98 because there are no one on market you can buy.
So lets go on, today i work a little on the handbrake :
electric is ready and tested
next is glue ( epoxy ) the potentiometer and make the case for it

Make sure you resize the photos, so the attachment is less than 500kb

please try it again maybe 2 or 3 times it’ll work. The same happened often to me too. For your info I’m also waiting for my motors. Good luck for your handbrake. In which case will you use it?
