It did it again. This time i didn't power off. Apparently it is only on the screen. It doesn't seem to send any commands.

It was during normal operation. I was trying different settings and all of a sudden it happened. By the way what exactly "oversampling" does? Make sure the bottom board (black) of the amc1280usb is pressed good against the top. It might had loose contact for the lcd pins then, and using the encoder moved it causing garbage on screen. Oversampling is taking multiple reading from the analog sensors to minimize the error from noise. The more you increase this values, the more you slow down the controller... Thanks Thanos

saerching for an alternative ssi sensors with incorporated shaft it seams that I found something:
"22Y ERC B3 05SSI 360 CW MT (340026) – right from stock – immediately – 6,35 mm shaft with MT (medium torque) – price is 38 Euro /pc. or 30Y RS B3 05SSI 360CW MT OCTH (340032) – right from stock – immediately – 6,35 mm shaft with MT (medium torque) – price is 42 Euro/pc. We can offer also LT (low torque) – but we do not have it right now in stock."
Thanos, could you please check in the catalogue which models could be used?

Hi Ignacy, Can you give a link to the datasheet or product page? I can not find it online with the information you gave, not sure about the model number of the sensor either. If it's SSI, it might have same protocol! Even if the protocol is different, I can adapt it easily.

In the PDF above you will find links with detailed spec of each product.
Please send us the exact codes of the products which could be used with the AMC. I will ask for prices.
Thanks

It does not describe the pulses but it looks like it's using same 2 word data clocked externally. Can you ask them if they have any SSI timing diagram to compare it to the sensor I have? Thanks Thanos

www.rotacol.info/30yrsb.pdf
The specs you are asking for are written down:
"The angular position and the signal generation is detected by a CMOS Hall sensor over which a parallel diametrically polarized magnet induces a magnetic field. An integrated electronic provides the output of a 2 byte WORD in Grey-code for SSI interface."
The strange thing is that I see 6 cable interface and not 5

The timing chart looks like it's the same as the AEAT SSI sensor, but it looks like it transmits the Less significant bits first (LSB) instead of Most significant bits (MSB) that I currently read the ssi sensors. I can change it or place a option to choose the mode for each sensor. It should have 5 cable interface, but it can always be that the data output is mirrored in two pins for use in twisted cable with differential reading to verify against electrical noise. Can you find out anywhere what is the pin out? Couldn't see that anywhere. Thanks Thanos

Digital sensors arrived. Offcourse i ordered the wrong picoblade connectors. Apparently digikey don't have the right ones in stock. Any idea where I can order the right ones? Thanos, can you share the axle drawings for 3d printing? Thanks

Thanos, can you share the axle drawings for 3d printing? Thanks Hi Gokhan, I have a photo of the picoblade parts I got from Digikey. You can look them up by the digikey number (ending with "ND"). www.dropbox.com/s/xqjy8sakn5ticj5/picoblade%20wiring%20order%20codes.jpg?dl=0I have shared the 3dprint parts for the axle here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:1926094I think I have the sketchup files there as well.

Ok, this is not going to work, it is SSI but it does not have CS line to multiplex six sensors in same lines like the AEAT sensors!
