Hi everybody,
The time came for a firmware upgrade.
The latest firmware v2.2 beta needs some testing on real platform still but it looks stable enough on bench testing.
Fixes: added menu option to ignore commands that change the PID when online (motion data only)
Additions: support for 12-bit digital magnetic sensors AEAT-6012, information about the connections needed will be posted here.
Download the beta firmware here:

*update 1/23/2017
New beta version that reads the digital ssi sensors as 180 degrees here:

(Fixed the KLM switch function too, someone test it and let me know)

For Instructions how to load the firmware on the AMC1280USB have a look on this video:

While installing the new firmware 2.1c you may receive a error message "Buffer overflow : [92944] > [65536]".
Look here about the setting in the AVRUBD to make it fit in the memory: motionsim.freeforums.net/post/324
You can see the location of the two new menu items to activate these here:
For the 12-bit Digital sensors you will need to build a simple adapter (it can be on perfboard and a few wires and pin headers).
If you prefer, you can order a pcb made by OSHPARK. The zip file contains the Gerber files as well a ZIP file with filenames formated for OSHpark submition.

OR click on the order now button below to order it easily:
More information about the 12-bit sensor can be found here:

Also a 3D printed fixture for the AEAT sensors can be found here:

And here some more videos with the 12 bit sensor attached on a small DC motor for testing the firmware:
Thanks
