Hi Andrej, I don't think you can use this inverter. I don't see any connection schematic on the link, but I'm sure it will rotate only to one direction. These inverters are often called Soft-Start, to accelerate a motor slowly. But it cannot be used with motion simulator. Perhaps you can look for a Hitachi WJ200 inverter in your country, or something similar. Thanks Thanos

Thank you again.

Hi Andrej, Yes, I see it can changethe direction. But its missing lots of setting that modern VFD inverters have like sensorless vector control, adjustable ramp timing and autocalibration to match the motor coefficients and characteristics. Not sure if its worth it, there are so many others that are designed for industrial use, that means they will last. Thanks Thanos

Hi Thanos, Hi everyone I am about to order the gearbox/engine with its VFDs. Could you tell me if these VFD's would work with the AMC 1280 USB board? It is a SK 200E from NORD, here is the link to the manual: www.nord.com/cms/de/documentation/manuals/details_1139/detail_42480.jspThe connections and functions of this VFD are available on page 47 in the pdf from the website above. They say they have the following connections available: - 4 x digital inputs - 2 x analogue inputs: 0 ... 10 V, 0/4 ... 20 mA - 2 x digital outputs : 24 VDC, max. 20 mA What signals do come out of the AMC 1280 board, is this list hereunder right Thanos? (Per motor or axis)- 2 x analogue inputs for direction control: 0-24V (CW-stop and CCW-stop) - 1 x analogue input for position control: VFD Setpoints 0-10V They told me they could change a digital input to an analogue one. Thanks a lot for your help, this forum is great

Herunder lol ! herunter
And yes from the amc out come 2x 24 volts signals for cw and ccw and the 0-10v setpoint.
