Thanos, on your Dropbox, you have the settings screens for XSIM. I copied the info in XSIM, but it's not good I think... I had problems, the response was not correct. By dint of searching, I found my problem: we must put the resolution to 32 bits: one wonders: is what the plugin 6 DOF is 32-bit? for my friends with a 6 DOF? for me I just checked 32-bit, and it works wonderfully now!

riton39 This is strange. It should not work... I mean it reads still 2bytes per axis (16bit) and probably ignoring the other two bytes (4bytes for 32-bit values). I'll have to make a data capture to investigate this, perhaps something is wrong in the USO programming. The 6DOF plugin is 16-bit! I know that for sure. Can you make a screenshot of the force values in the effect 26?? Thanks Thanos

do not touch anything that works great !! the gain is 50% look at this video: I have 4 g of DIRT 3 by +/- 4 000 000 I found that the AMC 64 and my 2DOF worked much better, I broke my head, I could not be as good as my 2 DOF .... and I remembered that I had put up, as a 32-bit on my AMC 64 it's your screen that made that I put 16 bits. but 16-bit, it works very very bad!

Thanos, my problem is that it does not work well in all the 16 bit.
by against 32-bit is super good !!
Edit: And it's the same problem in my AMC 64 .

I'll be working on my lab computer later today. I'll try the x-sim USO and take screenshot of the COM port settings I'm using.
Thanks

Hi,
Didn't had the spare time to reproduce it and do data capture. I'll have to verify this as well as soon I finish with the new additions in the firmware.
Thanks for reminding me, so many things to be done, losing track of them if not done right way.

did you find the reason for my problem? I have to put 32-bit XSIM and the same on the AMC 64. thanks

Thanks for reminding me, I'll check it on oscilloscope and logic analyser.
Thanks Thanos

Thanos, I do not know if you remember this problem? I come to you for this problem again. for some time, I managed to operate my AMC 128 with Suimtools. but there is still some bug on my right engine (probably a breakdown, or rather a problem of soft between your card and Xsim?) but it is more random with Simtools, I do not know why ... idea? In short, part of the problem seems to have been settled with Simtools. this gives you info for a possible soft problem. I also notice a big difference in resolution on the quality of the effects .... when I put 32 bits for the card in the Xsim resolution setting, the details on the effects were really good. today I notice a big difference, impossible to have this quality on effects and resolution. is there anything that does not work correctly in the settings, resolution, map settings? a link between 16bits / 32bits the bugs of my engine? the difference between simtools and Xsim .... it makes a lot of little thing that seems to have a link. I can not adjust my simulator like this: youtu.be/PUyGCMCIN0AI had set 32 bits in the Xsim settings, and before with the AMC 64, 32 bits as well. today it does not work anymore by putting 32 bits, and the resolution is very bad today I find.

2/13/2014 -fixed the 8-bit data format as following: AB<255><axis1><axis2> (for 2DOF) or AB<255><axis1><axis2><axis3> (for 3DOF) or AB<255><axis1><axis2><axis3><axis4><axis5><axis6> (for 6DOF) where the indentifier is the "AB<255>" part and <axis#> is 8-bit value 0-255
what has changed between the older firmware versions of the AMC 64 and the AMC128 and the current ones?
I tried to restore old firmware to find the same operation, and pass the Xsim settings in 32 bits, to have a result like I had, but it's impossible, I do not have the same operation.
I have a motor that works on the 2, and it puts in high position at the start of the datas.
I can not go back.
Has the resolution diminished, between before and now?
