Hey Daniel,
From what I know these 5d cinema platforms use DMX-512 protocol to synchronize the motion to the video data.
The AMC1280USB uses direct control on the actuators right now, but its possible to support DMX-512 commands as well in the secondary serial port. The problem is that I don't know what command exactly are being used by the platform. Do you have any application manual about them, or anything that shows the command set used?

I was thinking of using the Video plugin of the Xsim www.x-sim.de/manual/video_plugin.html to make the movements my self, because Im running my own videos in the machine, but the chinese havent make any good movements files. Im not intended to run commercial videos. Daniel B

Daniel B Hi Daniel, Sorry for the no reply in you email, I give priority to the support forum as much as I can. Some information about the signals the proportional valves require to position them would help. Or if there is controller that the valves are connected to, what signals, or data format needs to position the actuators. They should be able to provide programmers manual or a detailed datasheet manual where you can see this information. Something like the user manual for a electric 5D cinema I was given recently and adding support for its servomotors: www.dropbox.com/s/ci6c0088nkkmdeh/electric%20platform%20system%20user%20manual%281%29.doc?dl=0Thanks Thanos
