Hi all, I figured I would share a video from Youtube in reference to the HEIM joints we all use somewhere in our builds. I learned a lot from the video in regard to resistance, load and friction differences between the joints. I ending up changing mine since I did choose one that was too stiff for my platform application. I'm getting the new ones in a few days and will shoot a video once they are installed. I'm sure my platform will be that much smoother since that is important for flight simulation. I'll keep you posted! Heim Joints

Hi Vic,
Interesting is that I changed my HEIM joints back to my original ones as the easier moving HEIM joints were too easy and caused too much play and noise in the platform. My original joints worked out to be perfect once I put the load/weight on them. I should have noted that here but forgot about it. I purchased the new ones and now they are collecting dust.
What are you using now? I have the teflon liner in the ones I am using now.
