that sounds good i will try fabis configurator but it will take some time have to read the forum first and i changed some overshoot valves in the inverter i made 2 vids 1st heave 120mm test speed 3000 (if i go faster the seat is not moving) wait time 3000 P = 25 youtu.be/aopNCP5uxNc2nd heave 120mm test speed 3000 wait time 1000 p = 50 youtu.be/9QLsCUS9gik

the test with the P25 looks not bad at all. I see some arms curiously searching their position in the upper position. It's hard to guess why they don't behave symmetrically. It's very strange.
"(if i go faster the seat is not moving)" That's also not normal in my opinion.
I will send you a copy with increased wait time so you can better see what is going on there.
Please double check that the inverter settings for all 6 motors are the same.

set the wait time to 5s and keep your P at 25.
try to add some D value and see if your arms are steady holding their positions.

Iam with you this sim is strange Your stuff looks better and better. You are getting there... ;-) The test with P 50 is swimming a bit in the upper area. Pay attention, it is crucial for the kinematics, that the starting point angular arm orientation are the same for all arms. Try to synchronize your arms by adjusting your sensor orientation as close as possible. If you don't have a digital angle device, do your calibration with a classical level tool or through a smartphone app.

Yes I hope it's getting better. But it takes a lot of time, step by step. This week I am very busy at work I hope I can work temporarily at the seat.
My sensor mounts are not perfect. I try to adjust them during the week and maybe remodel, looks like some sensors getting loose. I hope it will be a little better afterwards.
If my sensor holder will fit, I will try to adjust my arms again
So I think Iam back next weekend with some updates
And Thx hexpod for your time and tips

One more short question What would happen if I shorten the platform arm from 630mm to 530mm? Actually, the seat was planned for another room. But the room is now the kids room. So I had to go in the cellar and there is unfortunately the room height a bit lower. I do not want to hit the roof

Good morning Some small update
I printed a few pulleys and sensor holders for the limitswitches the last days
I completely rebuild the direction sensor holder

good morning my sim is ready for testing maybe someone can tell me if the motion looks right. Sometimes i get some kicks and the sim is shaking a bit. Most of the time i think its in the pitch move frome the sim. iam using the amc + hexpod + simtools.

Hy so I've played a bit with the tuning center and the axis the movements are getting better and gentler, but the kicks are still to feel I set my P down to 15. What p settings do you use? And does anyone have experience with VR and car racing? I tried it with motion cancelation and it works perfectly. However, small correction motions feel very strange when you use VR. The movements are not noticeable when you play on the monitor. Only noticeable in vr. Did you have the same experiences? Thx

I installed my new triplescreen. And learned a lot the last days about hexpod and simtools software to set the motion right. I think my sim is finished and ready to race. I made some presets for project cars 2 and dirt rally, with the triplescreen the motion feels great. When I have some time I will upload a new video. Thanks hexpod for your time and help đź‘Ť
