Well I'm now working on my motion sim build (build thread coming soon, hopefully tomorrow!) and I was wondering if there are any motion programs compatible with the Thanos AMC1280USB besides the two I know.
I know x-sim and Ian's (Built for Fun) motion software both work. X-sim has pretty widespread support for racing and Ian's software works with a number of flight sims. Are there any other motion software packages available to further expand the list of games that work? What about some of the fancy commercial motion stuff? Can we use any of that software?
In particular I'm interested in motion control for War Thunder, Elite Dangerous, and Star Citizen. I know Star Citizen motion is probably a way off yet but it was promised in the 4.5million stretch goal "Extended hardcore flight sim controller support: Flight Chairs, multiple monitors, Track-IR, MFD (Multi Function Displays) and more on launch."
I imagine Elite Dangerous motion support isn't out there yet but hopefully it will be eventually.
Star Citizen motion is my highest priority in the long run, short term it's Dirt3 and hopefully War Thunder.

Star Citizen in 6dof would be amazing! just as many other games... I've already bought DK2 and I'm ready to build my holodeck I'm hoping that Thanos board will work with SimTools www.xsimulator.net/simtools-motion-simulator-software/If not I might have to get arduino boards and find a way switch between boards...

Thanks Thanos, I'm glad to hear that your board is compatible ! Hopefully 6dof IK plugin will be available in future. I'll try to convince them that affordable 6dof is achievable with my build so hopefully more people will upgrade their 2dof shakers All the best. Tino.

Hi Thanos! I m using sim tool. how to make a parking lot of my sim? I can not understand as soon as I start up the game immediately come up the drive, and just how close the actuators down Why ? Thanks !!! You can ask the programmer of sim tools to add a ramp up from a specific position (park motors) to a run position (when game runs) so it will transit smoothly for run/offline mode. I'm surprised they didn't implement such thing yet, Ian's software has this setting for years now. Thanks Thanos

Hi Levanon, In new simtools 2.0 they changed the command string by adding extra characters to indicate multiple serial ports. I don't have access to try this myself but you can try with: [AB][<Axis1a>][<Axis2a>][<Axis3a>][<Axis4a>] Maybe carbon can help more on the profile settings needed. Or you could ask here: www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-2-0-question-and-answer.8175/page-28Thanks Thanos
