New 3D printed sensor holder☺️ Adjustable also😲 This looks great! Did you designed it? Can you share STL files for it?

Hi ,
Nice job ! Congratulations for your simulator ;-)
A notice about the lenght arm . Could the arm level do full turn without hiting the floor ?
Just in case of emergency when setup the rig , sometines unwanted movements happen :-(
But anyway a real great work !!

I’m going to put adjustable feet under the motor frame so it will stand flatly. Hopefully the arm can rotate 360° then. Okey good to know! There was a unwanted movement when the sensor freeze.

😲😃 Thx! What screens would you prefer for racing? Is VR good for that.

😲😃 Thx! What screens would you prefer for racing? Is VR good for that. Hummm not easy to answer !! several months ago with the previous oculus software using just one sensor ( v 1.12 or 1.13 i remember) you could mount the sensor on the moving plateform and all was working just awesome ! But with the new release using multiple sensors with touch it doesn’t work as well as before ! There is something in test using a motion cancelation software inside steam VR ( and Revive ) , but it’s still in beta and for me not good enough and not easy to use ( not really user friendly). It took me a long time to proceed the way to setup it and I’m not sure that it works ! And since the last I’ve the feeling that now the oculus is on the sway movement sensible, before a lot sensible to pitch movement during fast acceleration !! With so big angles I’m not sure if the vr is the good solution because a development to cancel the motion is not yet well made. You can find some simulator resellers who developed their own solution to cancel the motion because nothing robust exists on the web for our simulator. May be try to contact Tiprodriguez who tested many vr solutions for his plateform. His point of view will be useful just forgot to report at the begining of this post , the vr for the immersive feeling is the best thing I ever tested ! It's just amazing !! here the link to the last post on simtools forum about the motion cancelation solution : Motion cancelation thread
the vr solution which is working seems to be the vive ( normally it should work with oculus but with each new oculus soft release perharps not !!).I tested recently a vive and I prefer the oculus resolution !!! As i said a very difficult subject !!
