If I remember well, you was also assuming that the upgrade process has created a bug that the downgrade did not repaired. right? In my case, a retrograde/upgrade process seems repairing an issue. That's seems crazy. How can we do the bug tracking if the flashing of the firmware is buggy himself? Thanos seems really quiet. He must be busy cooking with bits and bytes. cheers

everything worked perfectly well at the time. I decided to upgrade to "improve" the functions. unfortunately for me it does not work anymore. I noticed that the use of the plugin 6DOF removed the bug (random jerks on the engine 1) in 2 DOF, default, in 6DOF with plufing, no more fault. I have a 2 DOf and I use the Xsim port com setting.
backtracking kept the problem, yes
I went to Simtools, that removed the bug.

it's a solution for you right? there is obviously a missing track for 12-bit sensors? youtu.be/Djyzk-HAaKw

it's a solution for you right? there is obviously a missing track for 12-bit sensors? youtu.be/Djyzk-HAaKwThe missing trace was discovered unfortunately after the boards were delivered, and i can't fix them all. Many users will use the analog input interface so the few that opt in using the SSI interface will have to add the wire after they solder headers on the SSI input pads.

No this board is fine. The missing track conserns only the ones made after the Kickstarter, version 2.3.

12bit in/out first unloaded test I could set the proportional at 200, resulting a fast acurate decceleration. The motor is not quiet on position but it is sooooo much better in comparison to analog.... very promissing www.youtube.com/embed/ZPe3ldxz4yAcheers

because of the 8 bit PID? news about a future firmware?
You could test and see a difference with the 12 bit analog potentiometers

Now, for the first time, I can get a decent response with the new SSI's and the Teknic servomotors.
Honestly, if it is only a scaling issue in the firmware, except broken compatibility with Fabi's configurator, it's not such a big deal. I can live with it.
"news about a future firmware?"
No, I hope it will come soon. Debugging can be a time consuming process.
cheers.
