could you test please if you can also achieve a stable response with the cable length up to 1meter??
I'll try to get on my hands on USB-C cable that has enough wires in it. I found some 3ft ones for $10 which is about 1 meter. I'll order a second sensor for now for testing. I'll have to make a small pcb adapter for multiplexing all the six sensors wiring on the existing analog inputs and add option in the LCD menu selecting the type of sensor used.
On next AMC1280USB pcb version I'll have most parts SMD that will leave more space for connectors like that.
There is already a person from France waiting for me to release the firmware and connections information to test on his platform. Hopefully it won't be long before we have some results.
I have being coding all day, as it needs to adapt in many places from the normalization, PID and even display. Right now I can switch between analog and ssi sensors with an option in the menu and hard reboot.
One more day I'll have some basic tests done.
Some photos of the simple adapter for the connections.
It's unbelievable how many places in the code I still have to change for the new sensors. They have 4 times more resolution and trying to get advantage of it. But the cost is rewriting essentially the PID code and many of the other stability code even the one that parks the motor when goes offline!
I'll patch it for now for testing, in lower resolution so it can work with the DAC and the low PWM resolution, and increase it when I merge it to the higher resolution 12bit PWM 6dof ext that I design in parallel.
It will also have the higher resolution with existing 6dof ext eventually as soon I refine the limits for the new sensors.

fimmy: How's the firmware going?
Sept 6, 2017 8:34:43 GMT
tronicgr: @fimmy I had to put it on hold to finalize the manufacturing of the new kickstarter controllers. I tested parts of it to ensure compliance with the new features and looks good so far. I'll get back to it soon for integration.

Theuns: Very nice design.I'm also busy with mine and changing it also to Linear Actuators with 220v Servo motors.I'm waiting for my new controllers from Thanos. If I may ask Do you have any Sketchup files of your design and willing to share it I Thanks Theuns

atayeu: Hey everyone! I'm reading up and gathering all of the intel I can find for my first motion platform. this is by far best information for creating one.

tmcnam: I must be crazy but I still can't find the blueprints to the platform by GA-Dawg. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Trip Rodriguez: Sorry tmcnam, the shoutbox doesn't get much attention. Did you find the blueprints? They are at the VERY bottom of the extremely long first post. It says "attachments: 6DOF.zip
