Hello All... I'm in the process of building a 6dof Motin Platform to support my full-scale 737 Sim.

Very nice job of fabricating your 6dof motion system. I like the connector strategy for your AMC Controller.
Best wishes on your project.

What is the printer model that prints the parts do nicely?? It is a Zortrax m200. Once i am happy with the design I plan to mill them from delrin or kestamit. ABS is a very weak plastic. I am not sure if it can stand longer than few months. I can share the files, if you wish.

Indeed the parts looks great but this printer can not print objects with over 80 percent infill. That's why you have the impression that ABS is weak. The Polish guys prefers accuracy and reliability over the solidity and unfortunately did not provide the full infill control to the user.
Anyway - Great job!

I replaced steel bars with pvc pipes in order to create weak points in case something goes wrong in the first trial. Anyone with alternative ideas, measures for first trial safety? Attachments:

After many trials, I decided to shorten the rods. Now they are 600 mm. I am building rhe skeleton of the platform with 90x90 alu sigma profiles. I will use a 10mm thick polyethilene board over the skeleton frame. I got the car seat from junk yard. Here is last status of my project. Attachments:

Here you may see the last status of my project. I am having oscillation from the backlash of the reductors. It is so much that I am not even able test Fabi' s sw. I think I will need to replace the reductors with low backlash ones. I am also considering a top frame to fix reductors to eachother, in order to make the reductor installation more rigid. Please feel free to comment, advice if you have some similiar experience. Attachments:
