Here is the AMC1280USB Firmware version 2.1c: www.dropbox.com/s/ga43dgwaiedpo1m/enc_6dof_AMC1280USB_v2.1c.hex?dl=0Older 2.x firmware revisions can be found here: www.dropbox.com/sh/xqlwxapu2fqy1zz/AACy3n3ByXef-IZO7xbNvTpma?dl=0Revision History (updated 9/8/2016) -Added Individual PID values for all 6 motors. -Added switch to merged single value for PID for all motors for legacy reasons. -Added new mode for Analog signal (-11v,0,+11v) for Industrial Servomotor Drives (enabled with Jumper S1). -Added NO limit switch for PWM mode for H-bridges that use only one DIR line (like Pololu's High Power H-bridge). -Fixed other minor performance issues. While installing the new firmware 2.1c you may receive a error message "Buffer overflow : [92944] > [65536]". Look here about the setting in the AVRUBD to make it fit in the memory: motionsim.freeforums.net/post/324

I had some reports that Ian's BFF software were changing the PID values while the motion platform is moving. I discovered that it was caused by an extra command that will change the P value on the fly that I added in the latest firmware for Fabian's Bridge software. I did a workaround using hardware lock option in the LCD menu system, that will prevent these settings to be tampered via serial data until I find a way to make this function reliable. The fix is included in this firmware: www.dropbox.com/s/4jlhplduw7otu8b/enc_6dof_AMC1280USB_v2.1c_beta1.hex?dl=0To activate the lock, go to the lcd menu: 1. Data Format <16bit> 2. Print feedback set it to <Motion data only> Using this lock option will prevent Fabians tool from changing any values on the system although it might be still able to read the values. Another thing I think I fixed with it was the KLM switch preventing the amc1280sub controller from being detected by x-sim 6DOF plugin when the KLM switch is activated. Someone please try it and let me know it works fine now. Thanks Thanos

hi Thanos, Downloaded last FW and when KLM switch activated and ON still error comes . If hard button off 6dof plugin detected So didn't work for me. And the FW didn't work at all for me . The motion data sent correctly to xsim as i can watch input effect values changing but the sim didn't move. Will check the amcsetup but I didn't know what could be wrong because I just dowloaded the FW and setup the amc as you ask for in your last post.
when you navigate into the lcd menu it's not really clear what is the menu sub menu etc ....
there are other menu like check sum error off on .... you never know what is selected or not and it's really boring to navigate like this and my position doing this is very unconfortable !!
Hopfully will Fabi's upgrade his soift to change parameters !
In the lcd menu there is no menu named print feedback , after pushed 16 bit you have check sum err on or off , serv feedback on or off , motion data only but no sub menu called print feedback ...
Tested the 2.1c not beta FW and it works ! So something wrong in the 2.1c beta FW ... or not right setup in amc but as descibed above navigation is not really clear ... maybe something wrong in the navigation menu !!
And sorry for my abrupt commentaries , i've got a hard journey in my job with some boring people ;-)

No worries Gilles it's a beta firmware anyways. Thanks for the feedback. I'm sure it will have some issues as its almost not tested on real motor or motion software on my side at the moment.
But I'll will iron out issues hoping to release new stable firmware version soon, with quite cool new features.
Thanks Thanos
