I setted up s2, and dip swith 1 & 4 to ON to enable polulu. Of course display deactivated the feedback bars. (I think normal).
So i try to replicate x-sim demo video to see the bar moving while play with slider on 3d simulator in x-sim.
3d simulator moves, but dof bar on amc board does not.
So i tryied to setup a profile for prepar3d , at least to see 3d simulator on x-sim, moving while flying.
I setted up one axis, and searched for a published profile ready to use. No one playied published some good profile on x-sim.
I should start to driving crazy to setup a profile from begininng tey to find the right value on fsuipc ...
I have to admit that i hate x-sim.
I think this we will try BFF with amc + polulu using thanos sample.
I believe that is more userfrindly software and will also allow to drive the card from different pc from where flight simulator is installed. (I find this a plus).
I will also try the simtools, but again , i think bff will be better.
Any comments are welcome.
Good night buddies :-)

Can you move the servos manually when you press the up-down-left-right buttons on the amc1280usb ?
If everything is OK with the communication between the amc1280usb and the pololu controller, the pololu controller should have a green LED. If the LED is red something is not connected right.
Can you post some photos of the connection between the amc1280usb and the pololu boards?
Thanks Thanos

As requested here some wiring photo. Please consider that the rig now is built in standard servo but i will change with microservo that are nearly to be delivered. I also connected only the little one , same result Let me know if you find something wrong from photos.. No rush.

From the photos it seems you have connected wrong the 5v power to the pololu micro servo controller. If black wire is ground and red wire is +5v you may have killed your servos with reverse voltage!! The middle pin of all servos is 5v... the diagram on the servo shown on last photo is wrong! Here is how you connect correctly the 5v to the pololu micro servo controller: Green=5v White=Ground Thanks Thanos

You can move DIP switch #4 down. It's not used for rc servos (pwm only).
Other than that looks good.
Thanks Thanos

Hello everyone. I got my new 6 microserver from amazon this afternoon and spent an hour to replace the old burned ones. Something start finally moving, even if nervous. Does some one have some suggestions on how to parameter the amc in order to have smooth movement ? I immagine the much of the job can be done via sw (bff or xsim) , but just wonder to understand if the are some base parameter to setup on amc firstly. See short video driven by amc button and another driven by x-sim slider . (I will try bff next days, also connected to prepar3d) youtu.be/6tqkzFKvjQAyoutu.be/S51w5Xpr5FgThank. Marco.

Still making some tryies with mini platform and bff and flighsim. When i canghe pitch and roll it take more 10 seconds to see plaform making little movements. As far as you know what can cause this ? If i play only with amc buttons , platform reacts quite quickly but very slowly come back to middle position. (4/5 secs) I'm afraid i playied to much with amc settings. Should any one gice suggestions? I dont think depends from bff sw

have you installed fabi's software?
if so post a screen shot and we can see settings.
maybe something to do with offline motor speed or timeout?

All looks to be ok, is there a reason you have feedback limits at 50%, on a normal platform 10% is fine or even less.
I never made a mini mock up first so maybe there are other considerations that don't apply to a full size platform, someone else is better to advise here.
