Hi carbon , Did your rift work great since the last rift software release ( 1.13 )? For me the view drops on a vertical axis very often when the simulator tilted ( pitch situation )?

I've gone back to using a Gimbal. I now use a upgraded mini DSLR one. The smaller Go-Pro one use to sometimes get upset with the camera cable when I use to use it and had a upgraded one sitting around which I never used up until recently. Works well - now no weird tracking issues :-).
Video below of me testing it out to gimbal failure, but only for a second before it re-acquired. The Gimbal PID although was not setup for such violent motion - so may revisit the Gimbal PID setup if I think it is necessary, but the ride was stupid rough and not something I would normally do .. More details in my other thread.

Always the problem with the oculus playing with my 6dof .The view drops always when bracking or accelerating .I tested with a gimbal with rc servos motors but without succes.
Didi you have good result in motion using your oculus and sensor mounted on the gimbal ?
I 've got the oculus 1.16 release ( the last ).I 'm frustated because I can't use it in motion !!

The sim is getting a big upgrade . In part as follows: New sim shell, 4 x Sabertooth 2 x 60s, new power supply setup (big Deep Cycle Battery), DD wheel (small Midge), New HOTAS (WartHog), New G-system (Ballscrew based system), Handbrake, sequential Shifter, Motor Cooling, and latest 1280 from the Kickstarter. Plus lots of other small upgrades.
