I'm going to try and shoot a video of the platform while using rFactor. It will be running off the laptop so it lags a bit sometimes.

Ya su Thanos, I know you have been busy and I appreciate your time always. My DVI cables are coming tomorrow. I'm also going to start setting up my second computer to run the motion software alone so I'll have to network it with my gaming computer. When this is all done maybe we can Skype finally, and you could assist me with the dual computer setup along with setting the geometry in x-sim. It seems to be working great but fine tuning would not hurt I'm sure. Thank you as always! Steve

Hi all,
I have a question about x-sim. Does anyone know how to reverse a movement in the settings?? For instance if you turn a car to the right, the motion should push you to the left. It is rolling right with the turn, not away. Any feedback on the settings would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven

Hi Steven , When you open the box dialog for an effect in an axis , just below the window where you can choose the effect ,there is a check box where you can reverse the effect sens .

Another question, is there a setting to smooth out some of the transitions from one directional movement to another? Smoothing filter so it's transitions not so hard. Just curious.

I made some excellent progress last night with the simulator. I'm going to shoot a video later today. My monitor cables came in which allowed me to finally hook up my monitors. I was also able to install my forth monitor to use to work my motion software since my gaming utilizes the triple screen in full screen mode. I'm really excited because I was able to try out Ian at BFF's software he has for Iracing........it is amazing!! The platform is so smooth. This is the first time I am trying it with my gaming computer. The processor makes a huge difference when processing the frame rates. I can't wait to try it on x-plane. This morning I'm going to setup my platform dimensions in the BFF software which will make things even better.

Ok......here is a video of our initial testing of Iracing using the BFF software. I'm going to load a second of my son driving also. I am very happy with the smoothness and ques. I am running my P=16, I=0, D=0 with motors at 50%. It is even more than I anticipated, amazing!!! Ian at BFF, his software is excellent and support is equally as good. Thanks Ian!!!
