If I remember correctly, kill signal feature worked correctly when only motor 1 and 2 are connected. Problem occurs with all 6 motors connected. Firmware 2.4 rev 3, tried flashing again yesterday...
I think 'hold start position' KLM functions is not very useful in case of a potentiometer failure... Also these sabertooth controllers have a tendency to go full speed down if they receive 0Volts
Hexpod, have you tried reproducing the error with heave motion, please can you try and report back?
Thanks, Tino.

No worries, hope you can get your platform working soon.
If anyone else is willing to test this, it would be very useful.
I'd like to test using new amc1280, but unfortunately it has not arrived yet. Thanks, Tino

Hi Thanos,
Unfortunately still no news about the package.
Please can you check the status of the shipment?
I've also sent you a message on kickstarter.
Thanks, Tino.

So far it's been 10 weeks since my amc1280 card started malfunctioning. Still no news on the new card. I'm a bit disappointed, to say the least. One month has passed, and I still have no idea when I'll receive my board. Thanks Thanos.

Got the cards yesterday, now troubleshooting output modes for sabertooth controllers, quite difficult without a manual.
Today I found out (by watching a video about troubleshooting analog outputs for 6dof ext board) that I need to set the card to 12 bit pwm mode, to get correct analog voltage for sabertooth controllers (I have AMC1280USB main, which doesn't come with with ext board).

Finally I got the new amc1280usb card working today with all six motors, unfortunately I still have exactly the same problem as before, motor 2 is not behaving as it should (random kicks in opposite direction).
In the next few days I will be stripping down my platform (3rd time now), rewiring all connections, and writing up my final thoughts and impressions on the last few years I spent trying to build my simulator with thanos amc1280usb card.
I hope to get a bit more support from the manufacturer during this time, as i'm afraid it looks like the story won't have a happy ending.
Thanks, Tino.

It has been overwhelming month with all kind of things (even personal as my 12 years old cat had to have surgery). Did you try switching the sabertooth that gives you issues to another position or the position sensor associated with it?. Could be wiring issue or EMI noise affecting only that motor (close to power line?). Also try the latest firmware I just uploaded, to see if that makes things better: www.dropbox.com/s/n0pkj0yc9nr9s4u/enc_6dof_AMC1280USB_v2.4_rev6_debug.hex?dl=0Thanks Thanos
