This does not always happen, everything seems to work well, then after a random time the motor 1 starts to oscillate and stays that way. If you work the simulator, the other motors work well but the oscillating movement of the motor 1 persists.

Bad Sensor maybe??? Out of adjustment, like my SSI sensor and was outputing crazy numbers...on second thought, after seeing the video, it is repeatable. So, probably not the sensor.

I exclude that it is the sensor because until it goes crazy it works regularly escludo che sia il sensore perchè fino a che non impazzisce funziona regolarmente

Thanx

I also use a Arduino micro mounted inside the osw steering wheel and often the expod recognizes it as if it were AMC. At that point I have to unplug and hang up the AMC and have the hardware searched for to find it again. The strange thing is that, even if it does not recognize the right position of COM, everything seems to work. The X-sim version is much more affected than this but it could be a case. I also have another COM but has never given problems

In other words, can you unplug all other com port devices and reproduce your oscillation bug? Could you check what exactly happens when the oscilation starts? Is this occurring when the AMC goes in the "off-line" mode? Could you do this test please? Thanx

here you should see well: I started and after 5 minutes yes presented the problem. I filmed the situation. after pressing the reset button I ran the sim for about an hour and no longer gave problems. qui si dovrebbe vedere bene: ho iniziato e dopo 5 minuti si presentato il problema.

You can try the heXpod with the old ID. See and report please if the oscilations are gone. This is compatible up to the firmware version 2.4 rev3:

For the moment with version 2.4 and the hexpod 1.8 and simtools seems to work. I've been trying for about 30 minutes so I can not be sure. One problem I had with both 1.7 and 1.8 is that I can not save these values and every time I open the hexpod I have to set them up again. how can I do?

View Attachment Hi, The values should be written to the .ini file on the program exit. Insure that the folder where you put your exe has read/write rights. You can make a test with the exe on your desktop. It should work. Keep me posted

the program is already in a subfolder on the desktop which results with the attribute 'read only' I tried to disable it in several ways but apparently it is a bug of win10 and always returns checked 'read only' I gave the 'hexpod l running as an administrator but does not change anything. If I open the ini file to edit it manually I can not find anything about these 3 parameters (while the others are set and remain in memory without problems) You place below the .ini file (minus the last line of the key) if you can tell me what change manually. thank you

Billo, You can try to temporarily place the exe and ini directly on your desktop to avoid the writing bug.
Cheers
