The rig is almost done! But I got a issue with the AMC1280 board. After 5min driving the simulator doing just unwanted movement and don’t stop until I press emergency stop. After some testing I found out that there is something that getting hot on the board that’s makes the movement that the games absolutely not doing. It’s just enough to have a fan blowing on the board and it works fine. Is there anyone else who got same problem?

Try replacing the Udn Chips (name???). The chips that are socketed are super sensitive to static electricity. Wear a ground strap when touching the circuit board. Digi-key has replacements. Be well.

Still got the issue with heat. Not replace any chip yet. Just tested a lot more. If I drive a warm day it crash immeaditely and a cold day it works better. So I try to apply heat with a hair dryer and figure out that the controller crash when I pointed the dryer to the microcontroller board (black one) . The board where the USB cable is attached. It is very sensitive. Have you been into this before or know a solution to fix this?

So the problem is solved. I tested more and use a heatcamera to see exactly which part that get warm and how hot it get before it crash. 30° celsius then it crash. That was way too low when I asked Thanos. He sent me a replacement card. Now it works very good. I can close the box with heat from VFD. Never crash Anymore. Thanks a lot tronicgr
