it is important to clarify that must shielding cables or potentiometer sensor and shielding cables engines. according to the manual frequency inverters.
if the values of the potentiometers are not moving on AMC, we can consider that there is no noise / interference?

Yes... The newer boards have this fix. I posted the fix there for older AMC1280USB boards. Its easy to add these few parts. I don't remember if your is the latest one or not... Thanks Thanos

Not necessarily. You can get noise while driving the motor that will report deviation in the signal and may result in overshoot of position. But the worst noise is the one of switching power supply's, VFD are using switching to turn on/off the phases for the AC motors. Good shielding is always a good thing.

normally if the cables are shielded (as the manufacturer of inverters request) normally avoids this problem

Hi Thanos Decided its time to do this upgrade to my controller But I find the PCB layout does not have the tracks or Vref Pot fitted , I have had this board for over 5 years now so I am not sure how to do the Analog noise fix mod , as I don't want to damage my controller.. trying to attach photos but not apparent how this is done

Try using the post button instead quick reply to get all controls for attaching photos. Thanks Thanos

Hi Thanos , Really appreciate the rapid answer , My PCB must have been a very early version as it does not have the A Ref Pot or the Holes in the PCB for the A Ref Pot .. Just wondered if anyone elses had this issue and Photos of the Workaround would be great.. took some photos but I cant attach them as they are over 1 Mb will try yo reduce them and resend in later post Cheers ...I know this is a stupid question but have to ask . What is the function of the 10k Pot used for this update? and is there a guide to setting it up somewhere please .

You can solder the AREF pin directly (it's the last pin in the row I think.
The 10k pot is there so you can limit the top voltage value that the ADC can read, for scaling, in case you are using 3.3v analog sensors for example.
You can resize photos at your computer using a free tool like ifraview for example. 800x600 jpg is usually less that 1mb and can be attached to the forum posts.
Thanks Thanos
