As I understand I need to reduce the in my case 1500 rpm back to +/- 30rpm.. I am thinking of 6 0,75 KW motors but then I need the reduction, then I have all kind op options and I am not sure what to pick. mainly it has to do with the CM value, CM30,CM50,CM75?!?!
What would I need as I am not sure what it means. al I know is the higher the number the pricier :-) And I want to keep the cost as low as possible!!

3 phase 4 pole ac motor 1380-1500 rpm with 60:1 wormgear box should work fine. higher the gear ratio, more torque.
75 is the size of gear box, an 075 with 0.75kw motor should be correct, just make sure the flange matches eg. B5 flange. above 0.75kw you will need an 090 gearbox, which is what i went with for 1.1kw motor. oh and make you ask for a double shaft on the gear box to help mounting the pot.
if you wanna save money might be better to get from china. I saved about £700 (door to door) vs buying domestic.
once you move above 0.75kw.. bigger motor, bigger gearbox, bigger VFD so costs do start to increase quite a bit.

Thanks Paul,
Budgetwise not really the answer I really wanted :-) I'd rather would have like to hear that a CM30 would fit a 0,75Kw motor :-(
But thanks for clearing this for me..
This causes me to call on all European members, anyone having a good source for motors with reduction for reasonable prises in Europe? Otherwise I would need to source something in China, but the shipping makes it expensive again..
Thanks in advance, Michael

your right about the shipping from china, the 0.75kw motors and gears from china were no cheaper than buying in europe.
But what i effectively did was get the 090 and 1.1kw from china for the same price as the 075, so i didnt save any money as such,
just stepped up to a bigger size with more torque for no extra cost.
In UK 6 x 075's with .75kw motor came to about £1500, and i looked alot of places. i dont think you will find much cheaper than that.

if u include the inverter, gearbox and motor and combine shipping them, it will be worth it to use door to door sea freight service, all duty import fee taken care of by shipper.
Edit: i mean from china

The difficulty i found with that was that sourcing best prices for gearbox and motor meant using a supplier which did not supply inverters.
In actual fact the inverters in the UK were no more expensive than china so there was no money to be saved there, but that may vary from country to country.

there is of course the china branded inverters which is cheaper than european or japanese designed inverters. Some is quite good, what u need to look for is 1) Vector control 2) PNP and NPN switch for digital input terminal 3) autotune (usually any vector control will have) and inertia or Kp/Ki tuning (very rare in chinese inverters)

these are the people i used: wx-jsj.com/en/index.aspShould be receiving gearbox's and motors this week, but so far communication and service has been excellent. 6 x 090 gearbox's and 1.1kw motors came to about $1200 (inc FOB shipping) (not including duty, vat and customs charges)
